One Mrs. Mercy​ Segun, 42, was on Wednesday summoned at a Karmo Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja, Nigeria for purportedly beating her girl and emptying pepper into her vagina.

Mercy, who lives at Idu Gbagyi, Karmo, is confronting a three-tally of criminal power, attack and making hurt a minor.

The prosecutor, Mrs. Florence Auhioboh, told the court that the respondent's neighbor, one Gift Afegua, announced the issue at the Karmo Police Station on August 22.

She affirmed that Mercy, knowing her little girl to be a minor, abuseed her by emptying ground pepper into the young lady's vagina.

Auhioboh told the court that the respondent's activity caused the minor genuine agony.

The prosecutor said the offenses contradicted segments 246, 265 and 238 and of the Penal Code.

The respondent, be that as it may, denied the charges.

The judge, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq, allowed Mercy safeguard in the entirety of N30,000, with a surety in like total.
