A true west-coaster through and through, Q continues to prove why he’s one of the most underrated rappers in the game, delivering unapologetic lines with an ice-cold sneer: “hit that lick, got double stripes, Judge had tried to give me life, came home, I got extra bright, platinum records, now we on.
To be honest, it was hard to pick a standout cut, as there are many potential candidates. However, “Lil Story,” stood out as one of the album’s hardest cuts, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see this one killing it on the radio in the near future. Admittedly, it’s still too early to judge, but it’s feeling more and more like 2017 is the year of Gucci Mane, and both Droptopwop and Mr. Davis are looking like they’ll be making plenty of year-end lists.
