Musicians rally behind President to achieve ‘Pro Poor’ agenda - Liberia

Liberia’s President, George Weah after winning power and sworn into the highest office of the land, announced a ‘Pro Poor agenda’ to be embarked on by his government.

The national development strategy has been widely accepted by Liberians despite few people having different opinions.

Despite not having a Music Union, Liberian musicians have solidly stood up to support Weah’s policies to help stimulate the economic growth of Liberia for the benefit of poor people.

Most of these musicians announced their support by releasing songs to support the agenda and or address societal issues.

Producers DJ Square and Tricky Fingers placed Mr. Red and Efeso on a beat as they spit support for the Pro Poor Agenda. MC Caro on the other hand have taken the campaign upon herself as she assures Liberians of a successful delivery of the pro poor agenda.

Bucky Raw teamed up with legendary musician Takun J to address their views on the agenda.

Karnyea Man released Pro Poor Dance and more and more musicians are expected to release their songs in the coming days.
