Arochukwu is a Village and a Local Government situated in Abia state { Gods Own State}/ Nigeria. Arochukwu shares its boundaries with the Akwa Ibom people.
The Arochukwu culture is a really interesting one. Millions of people, Arochukwu men scattered all over the world always come back to these Land that there fathers left for them to observe their tradition like every other community in the world will do. They come to observe what the Igbos call Ikeji { Easter} and Christmas.
Let me tell you something, nowadays these Aro men i.e Arochukwu People, dont really come for this traditional observation but for the entertainment, this entertainment is known as the Ekpo dance {masquerade dance}.
